Five days of USEF A-rated hunter/jumper competition wrapped up Sunday at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, as the Lexington National Horse Show — part of the Virginia Festival of Champions series — crowned champions across more than 45 divisions. Here's the full rundown, from the $25,000 Grand Prix to the short stirrup ring.
$25,000 VFOC Grand Prix
The week's marquee class belonged entirely to Thaisa Erwin, who swept the top three placings — winning aboard Nadia (owned by Michael Smith), with stablemate Pandora VD Bisschop second and her own Nirvana G third. Marylisa Leffler and Oopsala finished fourth for trainer Patty Foster, with Ashley Worthington and Diadora fifth in the 13-horse field.

$5,000 Open Jumper Welcome Stake (1.35m)
Ashley Worthington and Diadora (trained by Patty Foster) took the Welcome Stake earlier in the week, ahead of Thaisa Erwin on Nadia and Marylisa Leffler on Oopsala.
$5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby
From a field of 26, Patrick Miller piloted Corazon (American Heritage Family Farm) to the derby win. Jessica Gulden and Rion were second, and Riley Hogan rode Touch of Grey to third.
In the companion derbies, Katherine Schmidt Butler and Desmond Point won the $1,000 VFC 2'9" Hunter Derby, and Sarah Thompson and Galaxy topped the $1,000 VFC 2' Hunter Derby.
