About this event
The Warrenton Hunt's Fall Fun Hunter Pace at Millpoint Farm outside Warrenton, part of the Virginia Fall Hunter Pace Series. Bring a partner and ride a roughly five-mile course through fields and forests over varying hunt country with coops, tiger traps and water crossings. All jumps are optional and can be ridden around or through a gate; the course is well marked and does not need to be walked in advance. The goal is to finish as close as possible to the time hunt staff take to cover the course at optimal speed. Divisions are Hunt (jump), Pleasure (flat) and Junior, with a first-place prize and ribbons through sixth. First riders out at 10:00 a.m. ASTM helmets and a negative Coggins are required; no dogs. Bring water for your horse; refreshments available.
Pricing: $50 adult / $25 junior (under 16)
