Camp Roosevelt Recreation Area is a U.S. Forest Service campground in the George Washington National Forest near Edinburg, Virginia, notable as the site of the first Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp in the nation, opened April 17, 1933. It offers primitive camping, picnicking, and access to forest trails, including trail riding routes through the surrounding national forest.
