James Madison's Montpelier is the historic home and estate of the fourth U.S. President, located in Orange County, Virginia. The estate includes a purpose-built steeplechase racecourse dating to the early 20th century, when owner Marion duPont Scott transformed part of the property into a Thoroughbred racing and training facility, and it hosts the annual Montpelier Hunt Races each November.
